Today is the day!  We are open for business.  Just click on the “necklace shop” tab right above this post to view all items.  Thank you in advance for your patience as this is my first ever attempt at selling online.  Also, please be aware that the set up I am using does not give you an option to “cart” multiple items, so please note the following information regarding shipping costs.

NOTE:  Please email me (click on the envelope icon at the right) prior to your purchase if:

a)  you are thinking of buying more than one item.

b)  you are local and would like to pick up your item instead of having it shipped.

 This way I can ensure that you are paying just one shipping cost for multiple items or remove the shipping charge if you are picking them up.  Please include the names of the items you are wishing to purchase and I will email you to let you know when I have adjusted the listing.   All packages are shipped Flat Rate Priority Mail.  We only accept PayPal payments at this time.

Almost there....

I am almost ready to sell online.  I am finding the easiest part of this venture is the actual creating of each necklace.  The more complicated part for me are all the ins and outs of setting up shop.  I am learning a lot and am excited to see my creations on the necks of other people.  Soon.....

A Work In Progress

These little cuties along with several others are my works in progress this week.  In a week or so (I'm waiting on an order of new bails) these will be full-fledged necklaces.

Summer is Here!

It's here, finally!  Summer Break.  What does that mean for this third grade teacher?  Creating with my hands....  Although I had an amazing year in the classroom and will really miss this particular group of kiddos,  I am ready for some craftin'.

First up, my new favorite project: glass tile necklaces made with scrapbook paper.  Yes, scrapbook paper.  I know, sounds crazy, right??  How can glass over paper look so good?  I am amazed every time I finish one.  Love them!! (Not to mention that I have a blast making them.)  Sitting with a tile in my hand finding the best pattern in the paper does something for me.  Much more fun than writing lesson plans, I must confess.

I will soon be putting some necklaces up for purchase.  I have had a lot of interest so far, and many have asked, "When are you going to sell online?"  My answer- soon!  Until then, if you are in the Columbus, Ohio area, email me and we can work something out.
