All Noonday Sun jewelry is handcrafted using scrapbook paper and high quality glass. Each pendant takes three days to complete from start to finish. Most designs are truly one of a kind as the patterns change with each type of paper.
Please note that in the creation process we use special glazes. Because of this, our necklaces are not recommended to be worn when bathing/showering or swimming. Being submerged in water may cause a breakdown in the glaze. Also, wearing our necklaces outside in extreme heat (90 degrees+) may cause the glaze on the back of the necklace to turn from clear to a whitish color. When the necklace cools down, the glaze will return back to its original clear color.
We have never had a necklace returned due to a flaw or problem, however I do realize that when a product is handcrafted as opposed to being commercially produced there is a chance for this to occur.
